Indian Accounting Association (IAA) has taken a flagship initiative of organizing National Accounting Talent Search (NATS)
for the young aspiring students annually across India. The prime goal is to inspire young talent to develop an interest in an
appreciation for the field and purpose of accounting. Indian Accounting Association is conducting this competition successfully since 2009.
Initially NATS was targeted at undergraduate students. However, recognizing the growing interest and potentials among advanced learners,
the competition was later expanded to include a senior level. The senior level category is meant for postgraduate students and professional
qualification holders up to the age of 25 years. Therefore, NATS competition is open for the students of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses.
This year a special initiative has been taken to increase more Girls participation and to motivate them to pursue accounting and finance profession.
To execute that the examination fee for the Girls participants has been reduced. Moreover, Zone-Wise excellency awards have been introduced
from this year to encourage participations from every zone.
Today, NATS is conducted in online mode nationwide ensuring wider reach and accessibility. In addition to the awards, cash prizes and trophies to
the top performers, IAA offers coloured and laminated certificates to all participants as a token of appreciation and motivation.
IAA invites academicians and professionals across the country to encourage young individuals to take part in this prestigious competition.
